I wasn't going to do it because I'm getting lots of homework already this semester, plus I've got other art things to work on--costumes and prizes for my contest (don't worry, I haven't forgotten about them, I just haven't gotten around to them yet). But Espeakus had the idea that I could do My Little Pony-fied sketches for people since those are so quick and easy! So here we go.

Also, just a quick update from my last journal: The BLM went ahead with the roundup of the horses in the Pryor Mountains. They cut it short early, but not before some of the horses, including a young foal, were injured. They are also so far refusing The Cloud Foundation's request to release the older horses, who are unlikely to be adopted and even less likely to be gentled and trained if they are. This is on top of the 30,000 or so unwanted captured mustangs that are already languishing in "temporary" holding pens.

Thanks to everybody who responded to my last journal and who emailed government officials about this issue. If you feel inspired to do so, go ahead and keep emailing, asking them to rethink this country's policies about managing wild horses (and other wild animals, while they're at it--am I the only one here disgusted by wolf hunting?). I haven't done so but reading all this news makes me want to keep trying.
